Just Love

This class is taught by:

Shannon Amos

In 2014 a series of events changed Shannon’s life. Unfulfilled in her corporate career as a studio executive and independent producer, she decided it was time to reinvent herself and to discover her purpose. Armed with laptop, yoga mat and Panama Jack hat, she began exploring Yoga and meditation as a simple desire to get to know herself. It was the one practice that injected enough space and solitude for that to occur holistically.

Through calm breaths and clarity of mind, Shannon shifted her awareness and evolved into a transformational mentor, conscious content creator, speaker and meditation teacher. Yoga and meditation have become an essential part of her daily life. Studying different traditions of Yoga (bikram, hatha, vinyasana, kundalini and pranayama), meditation (TM, chanting, LKM, mantra and zen) and philosophy, allowed Shannon to gain a deep understanding of the ancient science.

In her meditation teachings, Shannon utilizes pranayama (breath work), Loving Kindness Methods (LKM) and mantras, to create an atmosphere of awareness, grace and support within one’s own body, mind and breath.

Shannon’s ethos: Wear many hats. Breathe deeply. Have fun.

She works with private clients and groups who wish to gain tools for improving the quality of their lives, work, and relationships with others.

Loving kindness, also known as metta, is a powerful meditation practice, which brings about a positive shift in attitude to systematically develop a quality of loving acceptance and inner well being. In this class, you will open your heart space, cultivate unconditional love and compassion while calming your mind.
